2014 was the year my work buddy Harry and his wife Parminder welcomed their new son into the world. Meet... Bishmeet!
Gregg and Lori John are Mark's high school pals (and now Facebook friends). Their wedding anniversary is almost on the same date as ours, so we thought we'd have some fun by having a contest to see who could post the craziest photo. Gregg and Lori won.
From 1996 to 1998, when Mark was in graduate school at WIU, he worked with this crazy fun bunch of people in the Student Development and Orientation office. In 2014, Jan Wys retired after 30-something years at WIU. Sure do miss those folks.

Back in the old days, it was customary to take a picnic lunch to the cemetary on Memorial Day and hang out with your ancestors and deceased family members. Mark's 2nd cousins in Williamsburg, Iowa did just that this year and paid homage to Mark's parents by sitting on their gravesite bench.
